Transylvania University is in search of a dynamic and compassionate professional to serve as a part- time mental health counselor (20 hours a week from September until end of May).   This role is crucial in supporting the holistic well-being of our students. The ideal candidate will be a licensed mental health professional with a strong background in health promotion, prevention programming, and inclusive outreach strategies.

Counseling & Student Support Services

• Provide  individual therapy, crisis management,  and psycho-education to students facing emotional, academic, or interpersonal challenges.
• Conduct intake assessments and create treatment plans with appropriate referrals when needed, including to off-campus providers.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation by professional standards and legal requirements.

Master’s degree required and Licensure  as a counselor, social worker, or mental health professional in Kentucky.  LPCC, LCSW, LMFT.  (Applicants with relevant experience who are near full licensure may be considered).
