Transylvania University invites applications for Coordinator of Campus Engagement. The Coordinator of Campus Engagement oversees fraternity and sorority life and the intramural program. This role is the primary advisor to Transy’s College Panhellenic Association and the Interfraternity Council. In addition, the coordinator will share oversight and development of all registered student organizations alongside the director.  Additionally, the coordinator is expected to have an on-campus presence at evening and weekend student intramural and FSL events. This position is required to live on campus in a university-provided apartment.

Essential Duties: 

●     Oversight and advisement of 8 Inter/National Greek Organizations and 2 National Pan-Hellenic Greek Organizations

●     Serve as the primary advisor for the Interfraternity Council and College Panhellenic Association at Transylvania University.

●     Create and implement a new member education program alongside the College Panhellenic Association and Interfraternity Council. 

●     Facilitate monthly president meetings, president one-on-one sessions, and bi-monthly advisor meetings

●     Coordinate the intramural program and supervise the intramural student coordinator.r

●     Provide supervision and programming support for all student organizations along with the Director.

●     Oversee budgets for Fraternity and Sorority Life, the College Panhellenic Association, the Interfraternity Council, and the intramural program.

Secondary Duties:

●        Manage the event approval/notification process for student organizations

●        Participate in after-hours weekly “on-call” duty rotation with the Student Life staff. 

●        Represent the Office of Campus & Community Engagement on university-wide committees and at campus events.
  
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience in higher education or student organization advising.
