Transylvania University (www.transy.edu), a top-tier, independent, residential liberal arts college of 1,000 students in Lexington, Kentucky, invites applications for the Evening Supervisor of the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE). This is a nine-month, part-time, on-campus position. The Evening Supervisor supervises tutors and Embedded Learning Fellows (students who provide supplemental instruction in selected courses), proctors tests for the testing center, and provides individualized academic coaching to students in the evening in the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE). This person will also provide workshops to support students in the ACE.

A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in academic support at the college level and those with the ability to work with students who possess varying levels of academic skills. In addition, strong oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills are necessary.
